Search machinery, ask price, request inspection, or Make an Offer with privacy and traceable enquiry records.
How It Works
A complete journey for buyers, sellers, and machinery marketers using Masinery.
End-user buyer and seller contact details are not revealed directly.
Masinery keeps personal contact information private on public pages. Buyers and sellers connect through structured enquiries first, and eligible contact details are shared only through the controlled enquiry flow after login and verification.
- Guests can enquire, but do not receive private contact details.
- Verified users receive eligible contact details by email and can view them on the related enquiry page/item.
- Buyer and seller should not be contacted directly from public pages; use Send Enquiry so the contact sharing remains controlled and traceable.
- End-user identity stays protected on offer detail pages.
- Business marketers can show approved company information where allowed.
Post sell offers, receive structured responses, send one revised offer to a genuine buyer, accept or reject offers, and avoid repeated low-value Make an Offer attempts.
Create an approved business listing with activities, categories, services, and company information for machinery trade visibility.
Start with the right account
Masinery is built for three main groups in the used machinery market: end users who buy or sell machines for their own use, non-user machinery marketers who deal in machinery as a business, and service providers connected with machinery movement, valuation, dismantling, installation, and support.
Registration starts by choosing your account type. End users can post buy requirements and sell offers. Non-user accounts can also create a business directory listing after verification and admin approval.
Register and verify your contacts
After registration, email and mobile verification are required before using important marketplace actions. Until email and mobile are verified, a user can login but cannot post offers, send enquiries, report listings, or create a business directory listing.
- Indian users: mobile verification is handled through SMS OTP where configured.
- Non-Indian users: verification can use WhatsApp or email flow depending on the registered contact details.
- Country lock: the country selected during registration cannot be changed by the user after mobile or WhatsApp verification.
Post a sell offer
A verified user can post a sell offer with title, category, subcategory, additional specifications, description, price type, location, and photographs. Photographs are optional, but clear photos usually bring better quality enquiries. New and edited offers go to pending first and become public only after admin approval.
If a price is entered, verified buyers can Make an Offer within the allowed range. If price is not entered or contact-for-price is selected, buyers can ask for price instead of making an offer.
Post a buy requirement
A verified user can post a buy requirement when they are looking for machinery. Buy requirements do not need photographs. Other users can send an enquiry against the requirement. Make Offer, Ask Price, and Want to Inspect are only for sell offers and are not used on buy requirements.
Send enquiry, Make an Offer, ask price, or request inspection
On sell offers, verified logged-in users can use structured response options. Guests can send a basic enquiry, but contact details are not shared with guests by email. Registered verified users receive contact details according to the enquiry flow.
- Send Enquiry: a general enquiry about the listing.
- Make an Offer: a numeric offer for a priced sell listing. A buyer can Make an Offer only once per listing.
- Ask Price: used when seller has not provided a price.
- Want to Inspect: used to request inspection of the machine.
How Make an Offer works
When a buyer uses Make an Offer, the seller receives it under Received Offers and the buyer sees it under Submitted Offers. The seller can take structured action instead of treating it like a chat.
- The seller can send one revised offer amount.
- The seller can accept the offer.
- The seller can reject the offer.
- Even if rejected, the buyer cannot Make an Offer again for the same listing.
Both buyer and seller receive email notifications when an offer is made, revised, accepted, or rejected.
Business directory for machinery marketers
Non-user accounts can list their business in the machinery marketers directory. Company name is mandatory for business directory listing. Business details, address, city, state/region, country, GST or tax number, company type, and establishment year are taken from Company Information where available.
Marketers can choose up to two activities, such as reseller, broker, dealer, or service provider, and up to five main categories they mostly deal in. Listings go to pending first and appear publicly only after admin approval.
Contact privacy and sharing
Masinery is designed to protect buyer and seller contact details. Contact details are not openly shown to guests. For end-user offers, contact details are not shown on the offer page. For non-user listings, verified logged-in users may see limited business identity where allowed, but direct contact sharing follows the enquiry flow.
- Guests can send a basic enquiry but do not receive contact details by email.
- Registered verified users can receive eligible contact details after responding.
- Contact details are also available in the enquiry section where the flow allows it.
- Future paid membership can allow selected contact visibility on offer pages as per plan.
Good marketplace practice
Used machinery transactions need careful communication. Users should provide accurate machine details, realistic price expectations, correct location, and clear photos where possible. Buyers should inspect machinery, verify ownership, understand taxes and transport cost, and confirm dismantling, loading, and payment terms before closing any deal.
Masinery provides structured listing, enquiry, verification, and business directory tools, but users should complete their own commercial, technical, and legal checks before finalising a transaction.
